My name is Kanakamma and I live alone. My children left me and they live far away. I don’t have any work. I live on subsidy that is provided by government. It is not enough even for my  food that I eat twice a day. This is my new house. With the help of my community, I was able to build a house than living in a hut. I barely eat 3 times a day, but now as Rice Love gave me a 20 kilos rice bag. I can eat rice 3 times a day. In fact, because I will have enough food for a month now I could save the subsidy I receive from the government. With those savings, I can start making coconut baskets to sell and make money.
